CSD+ was founded in 2013 by two industry veterans, Malcolm Cooper and Dan Scott, as a design and concept development studio. Since then, the company has evolved into a leading international distributor of high-end natural wallcoverings. With over 40 years of experience in the wallcovering industry, Malcolm is a trendsetter in design and color, while Dan has extensive experience in production and design studio management. Together, they bring a wealth of expertise and a passion for beautiful design to the creation of hand-made wallcoverings using natural elements sourced from 59 countries.

About Malcolm Cooper
Malcolm Cooper is a Toronto native and graduate of the Ontario College of Art & Design, where he studied Textile/Repeat Design and Interior Design. He started his wallcovering career at Sunworthy Wallcoverings as a Colourist and quickly rose to become a Designer. He then moved to Paris, France to work with the Kitler Design Studio, and upon returning to Canada, he was promoted to Stylist and later Chief Stylist. In 1984, Malcolm was appointed Design Director for Sunworthy Wallcoverings, overseeing multiple brands. He went on to hold senior design positions at Imperial Wallcoverings, Ontario Wallcoverings, and Blue Mountain Wallcoverings.
Malcolm is a leading expert on color and a champion of North American style. He has served as a chairholder and board member of the prestigious Color Marketing Group and is a frequent speaker at decorating forums and seminars in Canada and abroad. In 2013, Malcolm partnered with Dan Scott to establish Cooper-Scott Design+, a design and concept development studio. The company created collections for leading wallcovering brands and expanded its reach to The United States, South Korea, and China.
